@ Midtown Greenway between 31st and 36th Avenues, Minneapolis

We love the Midtown Greenway! A beautiful bike and walk way to be sure, the Greenway is so much more, with a vision that encompasses public art, transportation, housing revitalization. economic development and community building too. Proud adopters of the section between 31st & 36th Ave since 2006, we’re doing our part by sponsoring our bi-yearly clean up. This year we’re teaming up with Soul Revolution, a like-minded, like-hearted business that helps people “Bravely Be” to live authentic lives. We’ll meet at the cafe between 8:30 & 9 am for complimentary coffee or meet us on the Greenway when you can. We’ll provide bags and gloves and all volunteers are invited back to the Birchwood after to enjoy $5 off their lunch! RSVP to info@birchwoodcafe.com.

FRESH celebrates real life heroes (Will Allen, Joel Salatin, Russ Kremer & others) who are re-inventing our nation's food system. Since the premier 2 years ago, we've seen our own local food movement continue to grow with an explosion of local farmer's markets, Minneapolis Homegrown urban farming initiatives and Farm to School programs, paralleling what's happening nationally from Michelle Obama's garden to Jamie Oliver on reality TV and an Academy Award nomination for Food, INC.

The relevance of FRESH has not waned and our commitment to its message has not wavered; FRESH is still the most important food film because it gives us hope that we can all make a difference to be the change we want to see in this world.

DVD home screening kits
available online

If you couldn't make a screening, visit the FRESH website for your own DVD!
