Midtown Greenway Cleanup Day
|
We love the Midtown Greenway! A
beautiful bike and walk way to be sure, the Greenway is so much more,
with a vision that encompasses public art, transportation, housing
revitalization. economic development and community building too. Proud
adopters of the section between 31st & 36th Ave since 2006,
we’re doing our part by sponsoring our bi-yearly clean up. This year
we’re teaming up with Soul Revolution, a like-minded, like-hearted
business that helps people “Bravely Be” to live authentic lives. We’ll
meet at the cafe between 8:30 & 9 am for complimentary coffee
or meet us on the Greenway when you can. We’ll provide bags and gloves
and all volunteers are invited back to the Birchwood after to enjoy $5

Sunday, May 13th | Mother's Day | all day What better way to honor Mom on her
special day than to treat her to some GOOD REAL FOOD! Our tasty brunch
& MOM-osas will be served from 8am-2pm. A little birdie also
tells us that the Benedict this morning will have fresh foraged MORELS!
Planning to serve MOM breakfast in bed? Come at 5pm instead for Burgers
& Beer when you can choose any two burgers and a pitcher of
local craft beer for $30.
Thursday, May 17 | Troubled Waters Documentary Screening | 6:00 -
8:30 pm If you haven’t see the award-winning
documentary film, Troubled Waters: A Mississippi River Story, here’s
your chance! The film traces the agricultural development of America's
heartland and its effect on our very own Mississippi River, offering
solutions to the river's troubles through fresh ideas and concrete
solutions. Pre film refreshments provided by Birchwood Cafe and the
post film panel discussion moderated by Tracy Sides of Soul Revolution.

Saturday of the month from April-September for our Riverbend Farm Crop
Mobs! Our Crop Mobs are a fun, family friendly way to
get a hands on view of where our food comes from and experience a day
