You'll find them in the parking lot across the street from the cafe with ready-to-plant organic starter seedlings for your own garden. Heirloom and locally adapted varieties of tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, lettuces, kale, cabbage, onions, broccoli, herbs, flowers, perennials and more will be for sale — complete with handy tips and know-how that will have you harvesting your very own organic vegetables this summer. Imagine a world where we all invested in food & farming. Not just any food and farming, but the kind of food & farming that nourishes people AND the planet! That's exactly what we'll learn about at Slow Money Minnesota's next convening with special guest speaker, Woody Tasch, founder of the Slow Money movement and chairman of the Slow Money Institute. Woody is widely renowned as a thought leader in "patient capital," mission-related investing and community development venture capital. Utne Reader named him one of "25 Visionaries Who Are Changing Your World". Get your tickets now for this one-of-a-kind event at Como Dockside (of course there'll be local food & drinks, too!).
