House White- Agriverde Trebbiano Italy ORGANIC Our House white wine comes from Italy and is certified organic. It has a pleasant and delicate aroma. Slightly dry and perfectly balanced make this wine an exceptional compliment to all types of food, especially seafood and light cheeses. Cono Sur - Chardonnay Chile - ORGANIC This Chardonnay is engaging in its yellow colour with golden hues. Its refreshing nose is very citric, with fruity aromas mingling with some light mineral notes. The taste is seductively complex, very fresh, with a well balanced acidity. This Chardonnay is undoubtedly young and friendly.This wine goes great with dishes prepared with a wide array of herbs. Chocolate Ginger Crack-Up CookiesB>  1 cup granulated sugar 6 tbspn unsalted butter 2 large eggs 1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder 1 tspn vanilla extract 1 cup all purpose flour 1 tspn baking powder pinch of salt 1/2 cup chocolate chips 1/3 cup minced candied ginger 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar  1. With an electric mixer, beat the granulated sugar with the butter. Mix in the eggs, then add the cocoa and the vanilla; beat at medium speed until smooth and creamy. Next add the flour, baking powder and salt. Mix the dough for two minutes. Stir in the chocolate chips and the ginger. Cover and refrigerate at least two hours. 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment or wax paper. Form the cookies into 1-inch balls and coat generously with confectioner's sugar. Place the balls one inch apart on the prepared cookie sheets. Bake for twelve minutes or until the tops look cracked. Yields about 2 1/2 dozen. |
