At the Birchwood, we celebrate 8 seasons: Spring, Summer, Scorch, Autumn, Dusk, Frost, Winter, and Thaw. We don't take our cues from the calendar, rather we look to our farmer friends, and in the colder months their root cellars, to guide and inspire our creativity in the kitchen.

Winter has officially arrived -- we can tell by the foot of snow, the single-digit temperatures, and the Frost menu! Luckily, we've stored up plenty of local goodness to keep some color on our plates and heartiness in our bellies, as the chillier temps snap our appetites into action.

Our shelves are stocked with jars of pickles, fruit butters, jellies, and jams, and our ovens tease our senses with the spicy, sweet & earthy aromas of roasted root veggies and baked goodies. Come in from the cold, and warm up with the cozy flavors of the Frost menu!
